Isabel is 1 week old!

Isabel officially turned one week old yesterday!  Mom and Dad have been soaking in their new title and role.  Mom and Isabel are now on a routine, so Mom has been able to get some good rest.  Grandma C has been a huge help around the house and adoring all the moments around her first grandchild. For those who are curious of the selection of Isabel's middle name; Ellis represents Ellis Island where Barry proposed to Rosa.

Our Bundle of Joy has Arrived!

Our little angel came to us through the water.  Mama wanted to give birth in a warm bath .  Contractions began at 6 pm on 3-15.  Continuing throughout the night the Woodwinds hospital told mom and dad to come in around 4:00am.  Getting into the car Mom's water broke.  Dad might have sped alittle to get mom to the hospital to help her with her breathing.  Mom flew through the 2nd stage of labor and was rushed into the water bath as dialation was at 7cm by 8 am.  The whole staff was in shock how fast mom had progressed.  Mom was able to maintain her composure through using a Duola to help relax.  It was a quite the present at 8:43 am, not a bad start to the day.

1 week and counting!

Mama keeps growing! Only a few days...or weeks till we get to meet our new little addition. 

Coed Baby Shower!

Baby, Barry, and I were showered by our close friends!  We played a fun game, had some good food, and had great company!

Baby Nursery!

The baby can officially come, the nursery is ready!  We made a few modifications from our inspiration board but look forward for the baby to enjoy.  Check out more pictures of the nusery, click here. 

Stoutie Baby Shower!

Reunited with the old Stoutie group.  We had tropical drinks and food to accompany the nice weather out!  The baby once again was showered with very unique gifts.  Click here to see some of the shower pics.

Old co-workers and industry friends showered the mom to be and baby. You guessed it there was a fun baby book theme!  The baby's book shelves are filled with mom to be friends favorite reads.  A big thanks to the hosts and group.  We are looking forward to our baby photo session.
